Crown Tours starts at €54 per adult for Basilica and museum guiding, against €30 for the official guided ticket. The official guided visit lasts about 50 minutes, leaving the museum to you. Your ticket: the basic ticket page offers the Basilica and museum with an audioguide for €26.

Itinerary

1. Plaça de Gaudí 5 min

   The welcome at Plaça de Gaudí takes 5 minutes. Your meeting point is near the children's playground, where the host wears a purple Crown Tours jacket.

2. Nativity façade 10 min

   The Nativity façade stop takes 10 minutes, with an introduction to Gaudí's plans for the Basilica. The Nativity façade faces east, on Carrer de la Marina.

3. The Basilica 30 min

   The Basilica interior has 30 minutes on the guided route. The official booklets describe branched columns supporting the vaults. The Nativity side has bluer glass for morning light; the west has orange glass for evening light.

4. Passion façade 10 min

   The Passion façade stop takes 10 minutes and covers its scenes of Christ's suffering. Josep Maria Subirachs made the angular sculpture groups. The Passion façade faces Carrer de Sardenya.

5. Sagrada Família museum 30 min

   The museum visit takes 30 minutes with your guide. The models and sketches show how Gaudí developed his plans. The museum receives the same time as the Basilica interior.

6. Sagrada Família Schools 5 min

   The Schools have 5 minutes on the route for a visit on your own. Gaudí designed the Schools for the workers' children and other children from the neighbourhood.

Know before you go

• The Basilica's FAQ requires official photo ID at entry and proof for discounted tickets. Bring the ID that matches your ticket and proof of age for children's fares.
• The official conditions of sale limit your ticket to its booked date and time, with no late entry or return after leaving.
• Crown Tours requires you to cover your knees and shoulders for this tour. The Basilica's rules set a general minimum of mid-thigh clothing. Bare shoulders are prohibited in the Chapel of the Holy Sacrament; transparent clothing and swimwear are also prohibited.
• Bags and personal items are checked with metal detectors. The Basilica does not allow dangerous items or food and drinks from outside.
• The Crown Tours route is not wheelchair accessible. Visitors under 16 must be with an adult. Crown Tours uses its child fare for ages 0 to 10 and its adult fare from age 11.
• A full refund requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure. Cancellations within 24 hours receive no refund.
