Sagrada Família and Gaudí photo walk option

The photo walk has 1 option in English or Spanish, with daily departures at 11:00, 15:00 or 17:00. Any mobile phone is suitable, and no prior camera skills are needed to take part. Plan around: finishing the walk at Avinguda de Gaudí before a separately booked Basilica visit. Prices are the lowest listed, per adult, ages 12 to 100; the hours and the days belong to each option.

Can you take the Sagrada Família photo tour with a phone?

The Sagrada Família photo tour accepts any phone or camera for its 1 hour 30 minute lesson. You bring your own equipment; the guide provides individual help with composition. The walk stays outside Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, with 20 minutes outside the Sagrada Família. No Basilica admission is included.

What's included

Take a Photo Walk teaches composition outdoors in English or Spanish. You take the photographs on your own device. Take a Photo Walk does not specify a portrait session or a package of edited photographs.

Tour or official ticket?

The basic ticket page lists Basilica and museum admission with the audioguide app at €26. The photo walk stays outside. Your ticket: the photo walk, €49.99 per person, for help taking photos using your own equipment outside Gaudí's buildings.

Meeting point

Itinerary

1. Casa Batlló 20 min

   Casa Batlló has a 20 minute exterior stop to practise framing the whole building. The guide helps you frame the building from the street. Entry to the house is excluded.

2. Casa Milà 20 min

   Casa Milà has a 20 minute exterior stop devoted to details in your pictures. The guide explains how details can help a picture tell a story.

3. Sagrada Família 20 min

   The Sagrada Família has 20 minutes for taking photos outside with the guide. The lesson looks at the whole building as well as its details. The official booklets place the Nativity façade in the east, in the morning light.

4. Modernist Streetlamp 10 min

   The Modernist Streetlamp on Avinguda de Gaudí is the final 10 minute stop. The lesson ends by the streetlamp. Transport from the finish is not included.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure. Later cancellations get no refund. Bookings are confirmed instantly. Bad weather can lead to cancellation of the photo walk.

Know before you go

• Bring your own mobile phone or camera. Take a Photo Walk does not supply equipment.
• No prior camera skills are needed; the guide gives individual help between the stops.
• The booking age band starts at 12 years.
• Food and drinks are excluded, as are tips and transport to or from the meeting points.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund. The walk can also be cancelled if too few travellers book.
• For a separate Basilica visit, the Basilica's rules require press accreditation for tripods and written authorisation for commercial photography. Professional photography equipment is not allowed for photo sessions inside the Basilica.
